Frequently asked questions
What does AnyCloud2BI need access to?
Read-only access only, created by a template or script you run yourself. The Security page lists every permission for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
Do I need to install an agent?
No. AnyCloud2BI reads your billing exports and calls each cloud’s read-only APIs. Nothing runs inside your accounts.
How long until I see data?
Security data appears within minutes of connecting. Cost data appears once your billing export has delivered, usually within 24 hours for a new export. If you already have a CUR 2.0 export or a BigQuery billing export, it is used straight away.
Which clouds are supported?
AWS (single accounts and AWS Organizations), Microsoft Azure (subscriptions and management groups) and Google Cloud (projects and organizations).
What uses tokens?
Only AI work: copilot answers and Savings Advisor refreshes, charged at what each one actually cost to produce. Viewing dashboards, reports, filters and settings is free.
Do tokens expire?
No. Tokens never expire and there is no subscription. Buy a pack when you need more.
Can my team use the same account?
Yes. The workspace owner invites teammates by email. Everyone shares the cloud connections and the token balance; each person’s copilot chat history stays private.
Can I disconnect?
Yes, any time. Disconnect in Settings, then delete the CloudFormation stack, remove the Azure enterprise application, or delete the Google service account. Your CUR bucket and exports stay yours.
Tokens and pricing
What costs tokens?
Copilot answers and Savings Advisor refreshes. Each one is charged at the real number of AI tokens it used — your question, the data the copilot read through its tools and the answer. Longer answers and questions that need several tools use more.
What is free?
Everything that isn’t AI: dashboards, cost and security reports, filters, exports, connecting clouds, settings and your team.
What happens when I run out?
Dashboards keep working. The copilot shows an “Add tokens” button; buy any pack and carry on.
Is there a monthly fee or seat fee?
No. You pay only for token packs, and your whole team shares one balance.
Can I see what I spent?
Yes. Token usage lists every charge with its date and tokens, and Credits added lists every top-up. Both export to CSV.
